Review on 🕶️ Barton Jetson Style Watch Strap: Retro meets Modern for Timeless Elegance by Danny Kimble

Received this NATO harness for my Pro Diver along with a regular Barton ballistic nylon NATO strap for my other watches on 11/11/2020. The weave of the seat belt is phenomenal in terms of comfort, but as of 03/17/2021 my idea of the durability of this belt has finally evaporated. The ribbon started fraying right away from day one, so at first I just held a lighter nearby to melt the stray fibers and then just wiped it off. Well, the strap got worse and worse over time, and the material seemed to fall apart with every stitch and all the way. I was also disappointed that the hole where I normally put the clasp got stretched and frayed, which was a big bummer considering I wear my relatively light watch with a lot of 'wiggle'. I'm very careful with my watch and work at my desk all day so I don't understand how this strap could unravel so quickly on my wrist while my other Barton NATO ballistic nylon material held up easily...what wear comes out of the question. To be honest I love the Barton, my alligator strap is absolutely phenomenal as are the other NATO watches I mentioned earlier. I think the Jetson series needs more quality control in the future as the concept is great but the execution is a bit lame in the long run. I downgraded this rating from 5 stars to 2 because at least it was a super comfortable and attractive strap while it lasted.
