I bought these to install Hue light strips under my son's bed. I did not use the included mounting hardware which would work well on the side rails. Since my son's bed had side slats, I installed them perpendicular to the bottom of the slats with zip ties instead. The Hue strips fit the channels perfectly, and the two channels placed side by side are the perfect length with no cuts for the bed. The whole process took no more than 15 minutes.
