I had to update my review because after cleaning the second batch of oysters the bowl was bent and the edges rolled up. The grip also slipped a lot more on this batch, resulting in hot spots on the thumb and forefinger where the grip meets the collar. The product is durable and perfectly balanced in the hand. Very stable pressed in shells.
