At first I was a bit concerned about the size. Environment is large enough for a pup under 15 pounds if you want to use it as a playpen/kennel while away from home. If you want more space to play, be sure to buy the largest possible size. Now to my love. I just got a new puppy. Since I work 12 hour shifts and have 13-14 hours off, I needed something that would fit in my bedroom while providing a safe yet breathable space. The first night I didn't put him in the paddock until 3-4am after potty break. He calmed down very quickly but after being taken out 5 hours later he definitely showed no interest in it to this day. It's our third day together and he just went there by himself, as happy as can be. Since I don't leave him there a few hours a day when I'm home to pack the train, he already perceives this kennel as a positive space. I know boxing workouts don't work that way BUT it seems to have worked for him.
