I needed to remove a rusted brake line from a fitting and tried the best penetrating oil on the market and let it sit for two weeks - it didn't work. I tried 4 cans of freeze spray and that didn't work either. In the end I had to resort to a flashlight. The problem was that the direction the flames were coming from was straight at the gas tank, 3 inches from it. I used this rolled up blanket and placed it between the gas tank and where I was supposed to apply the flame. When I was done, I took off the blanket and the gas tank was freezing. It was burned a bit by the flames where the flames hit it, but it can still be reused as it's so big and the burned area is basically irrelevant because the ceiling is fiberglass (which means it's not is soft).
