These are not speakers with super sound quality. If you're looking for exceptional sound quality and audio reproduction, you shouldn't be looking for speakers under $25 anyway. These are quality, basic replacement speakers that sound decent for what they are. They will NOT sound like more expensive speakers at all. However, they do sound crisp and clear if you take the time to set them up properly and don't drive with the stereo cranked all the way up. I actually recommend these speakers to 80% of people who just want to "upgrade" their stock OEM car speakers, although to be honest I consider them more of a replacement than an upgrade. Unless you are, or need to be, a hardcore audiophile. Of the higher spec speakers, they should fit the bill fairly well. The price is for a set of 2, including mounting material and protective grille for each speaker.
