I was replacing all 4 factory speakers in my 2005 Honda Element (lx) when one started buzzing. The new speakers have significantly less bass than the cheap original computer speakers. If it took longer to install I'd be very unhappy, but they're as easy to replace as any speaker I've ever replaced. They were cheap but had a pretty good rating. but they certainly didn't fit their bills. I will buy something else next time.

This was a basic door speaker replacement for my 1991 Ford Ranger. I bought a separate wiring harness and hooked up the speakers in a few minutes after the door panels were removed. The screw holes didn't match the original, but that's not critical. The price was good and they sound great with standard AM radio. I bought a single din FM radio USB player but I like the two AM stations that the standard 29 year old radio gets so I haven't installed it yet.

After 20 years I had a hum in one of the Forester speakers. I bought them as a replacement. The supplied cables are about 1/2 times as thick (cable harnesses) as with the old speaker. Splicing and sound are fine at best, definitely not great at higher volumes. I would not recommend them. I wonder if it's worth returning them. If your current speakers haven't exploded, this can't be an upgrade. When I bought them, they were $19 a pair. I thought it would be a great deal and the Kenwood name means they won't be /that/ bad. I bought 4 of these two way speakers to replace the stock 6.5 speakers in a 2008 Honda Fit. Installing the speakers was easy and with the included wiring diagram on the speaker enclosure it was easy to drill any hole needed. These are not speakers with super sound quality. If you're looking for exceptional sound quality and audio reproduction, you shouldn't be looking for speakers under $25 anyway. These are quality, basic replacement speakers that sound decent for what they are. They will NOT sound like more expensive speakers at all. However, they do sound crisp and clear if you take the time to set them up properly and don't drive with the stereo cranked all the way up. I actually recommend these speakers to 80%
