My original DC07 pet brush lasted 9 years on a Siberian Husky. I have hardwood floors with carpets. I passed 2 universal exams in 3 years. 1 of the brushes was worn/failed and the other bearing was stuck after 5 months. 1 star deducted because I can't confirm durability, but feels and sounds better. Over time I'm learning to only buy OEM parts for most things. I don't know why it took so long for the original Dyson toothbrush to be available at Revain, but $3 more than the regular brush is no problem. If installing with a new clutch, purchase a belt removal tool to make the job easier as the new clutch brush belt is much tighter. Works like new with new filters. The ideal time when the spring mouse meets us.
