I got this a few weeks ago because I wanted to start using the PID application (with ODB Fusion). The main advantages for me were the price and the low power consumption (LE) operation. With the LE, I leave it plugged in without fear of draining the battery. Technically speaking, I believe this will drain your battery eventually, but you'll probably have to leave it plugged into your idle car for a while. Otherwise everything should be fine. I've plugged it in since installing it and left my truck alone a few times for about 48 hours and haven't had any battery issues. When I check the ODB Fusion, the battery voltage quickly returns to nominal. I used Samsung S5 and S10 to pair and had no problems with ODB Fusion. The manufacturer also submits an application. It's simple and allows you to set the device's automatic on/off function. You need another app to connect and monitor ODB data.
