Works great seems great quality

It seems like a lot of people buy these to prevent shower leaks but my use case is to simply reduce or turn off the water in the shower to save water when lathering or shaving. After looking at several different ones I settled on this one because of the ball valve to avoid possible disc style limitations. I just installed it today, but so far it's working great. As others have said it shuts off the water completely, does not cause any noticeable restriction when fully open and can be used to reduce flow at any point in between. There's also no doubt that it's solid metal, as it's heavy and looks well-made, so durability shouldn't be an issue. If anything changes I will of course try to come back and update it. The weak point of things like this is often the refusal to use stainless steel screws, so time will tell if the one used to attach the handle will rust. turns very easily and smoothly, although it's certainly not that easy to turn alone or with a little nudge. My only real complaint about it at the moment is that the handle cannot be mounted any other way. That said, the way it's designed, the handle shows anywhere from the showerhead to the ceiling depending on how open or closed it is in my setup, as you can see in the photos. I would have preferred it to face away from the shower head or down as that would be a bit more ergonomic, but that's a very minor issue. I was hoping to find a sideways adjustment like a poppet valve, but after searching for a while and not finding it, I realized that since such an adjustment knob doesn't work, it's probably impossible. can spin the ball. I just need to figure out how to tell this knob apart from the extension cord pull knob above it so I don't accidentally turn the wrong knob when I can't open my eyes. The additional parts I bought for this that you can see in the photos are the 11+ inch WaterPoint extension and the HammerHead all-metal shower head. Both seem to be of great quality too. I used Mill-Rose 70885 Blue Monster PTFE 1/2" teflon tape, simply cut off the excess with a knife, which I did on some but not all joints.
