Must have gotten a melody. UPDATED

UPDATED REVIEW: I don't think I'm very hard to please. I really (really) love the simplicity of this teapot and am a verified buyer of at least 5 of these teapots here at Revain (I bought my first dead teapot elsewhere and gave a few away). PROBLEMS: Used a kettle at a child's house and was concerned when it didn't turn off automatically and I didn't catch it until the water had boiled. This is dangerous. This morning the kettle in my house boiled about half the water before I caught it (the water was literally dripping off my wooden cupboards). This kettle has a problem with the switch. A kettle that died on me, the switch didn't turn the kettle on regularly (you never knew if you could turn the kettle on) and now I realize I can't trust the kettle to turn itself off. Someone is about to start a fire and manufacturers and sellers are now alarmed. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I am currently awaiting my 3rd Chef's Choice teapot. My first teapot was bought elsewhere and lived a long and loving life and when he died I was so fortunate to find a similar teapot at Revain. But after half a year it stopped working! SO SAD! (One year warranty of course) When I say "stop working" it sometimes turns on (glows blue) and then just turns off without heating the water, or the light/kettle doesn't turn on at all a. We think he has a bad switch. The kettle gets 5 stars because it's the easiest kettle to use! But then I subtract most of those stars as at this price point the kettle should last over 20 months.
