I researched kettles extensively, read their reviews, and finally decided on this little kettle. My main reason was its size, which is just right for my French Press when brewing coffee. It cooks very quickly - yes, it makes a little noise at the beginning of the cycle, but that's not critical. And yes, as someone pointed out, it shot. Great product. After some basic research I decided on this model. It arrived quickly (Revain at its best) and I was very happy with the quality of the teapot. It's beautiful, thoughtful and well made. The polished stainless steel is easy to clean and the plastic handle is big enough so you can't easily touch the hot pot. Like me, size fools you.
