Great product. After some basic research I decided on this model. It arrived quickly (Revain at its best) and I was very happy with the quality of the teapot. It's beautiful, thoughtful and well made. The polished stainless steel is easy to clean and the plastic handle is big enough so you can't easily touch the hot pot. Like me, size fools you. In contrast to small cars, it looks much larger from the outside. What actually happens is that the heating element has to be quite large as it heats up very, very quickly. As a result, it takes up quite a bit of space at the bottom of the kettle and reduces the capacity of the pot. That said, it's a lot of water, over a liter, and I never filled it all the way for normal use. Did I mention that it heats up very quickly? The base is unobtrusive and the bottom cord swivel system is ingenious and limits the number of cords on the kitchen countertop. The kettle itself has an on/off button and that's it. Just the thing if you're not quite awake yet. If you forget it, it will end automatically. I usually prepare and connect water. When I finish making a cup, the water is already hot. Of course, if you have a full pot, it will take a little longer. I am very happy with this purchase. I already know that if it breaks I'd like to have another one, but of course it won't be made until then. If it's that good, we'll stop releasing it... Think! It's a confusing maze to buy one of these, but you'll probably be as happy with this model as I was.
