Great product, a pleasure to use.

I bought it in a laptop as a second disk (after SSD) for file cleaning. In my area, the Internet is slow, any streaming is difficult, so it is more convenient to download content in advance. For these purposes (low price and noise, decent volume) it fits very well.
The lack of write speed is compensated by the OS caching in RAM, similar to re-reading, so I don’t see the point in a hybrid drive for file cleaning.

Among the competing manufacturers there are no models with adequate characteristics (price, thickness, cache size and speed characteristics). WD and other modern models offer hybrid drives for much higher prices (already comparable to SSDs) or models with 5-year-old specifications, maybe this is logical, because. in a couple of years, 1Tb SSD will not cost so much and hdd will sink into oblivion, but for today it is a good option.

Pros

Modern HDD with low noise level, large cache, small thickness. Of course, there is noise, but moderate-monotonous, without particularly highlighted clicks or crackles.

Cons

Not suitable as a disk for the OS (which is logical in principle, in principle, only very patient people can use any HDD as a system disk now). It often stops when working in a laptop (when the disk is not in use), which most likely leads to accelerated wear; proprietary utilities cannot disable this.
