Bought because of the good reviews. I wanted to color some tin miniatures. They looked great out of the box and the handles are easy to hold and manipulate. Unfortunately, the ends curl up after the first use. The first one I used is now in the shape of a "J" and the one I replaced it with is starting to move towards J-ness. No amount of wetting, scrubbing, wiping, or storing in a transparent case will prevent this. I was expecting them to last a lot longer but I'm halfway through packing after 3 coats. I will look elsewhere for future brushes. They are good for canvas painting although they are quite stiff.
