Protects, but limits fast forwarding

I bought this because I've already broken a remote control and didn't want that to happen again. Overall it works and is efficient, but I have a hard time skipping forward and just tapping the sides of the remote to jump to 10/15 seconds. The edge of the case curves over the touchpad area and I accidentally pause the whole time. I've resorted to peeling off the cover when I want to fast-forward.
