Final Product Review May 27, 2020

Product is ACInfinity Compliant. The fans are slightly loud in the upper range and from level 3. For me, the volume is normal. The rack is located in its own network cabinet. However, my colleagues and I did an air volume test and all came to the same conclusion. Fan placement is an issue. The design should have a triangular layout with at least one fan closer to the front position. Why, because the intake and cooling vents of many devices are closer to the front than the back. We would like ACInfinity to take this into account. However, a digital setup that includes a sensor is unique, and you can find a hotspot in a rack and place the sensor there to gain a small advantage by keeping the airflow moving when needed. Good. The case is solid and the packaging is high quality. The instructions are pretty flimsy, but I figured it out. The menu LED screen is very nice and clear, the internal components and wiring were pretty good and organized. For all customers who will be using this, make sure you leave at least 1U of total space under the fan rack for proper airflow. This product is not intended for use at heights between 1U and 1U. you have to have space below and 1/2U is not enough. I would like ACInfinity to include a velcro or some sort of attachment strap for the probe. This completes the installation of the product. Be aware that this product has taken over two weeks to get to me and my staff, a VERY VERY VERY long time. Please, with the quality of your ACInfinity products, you must also be the best in all aspects of delivery. Work to ship products as originally stated. Please work on it. ---- Final Thoughts The fan assembly I would say is of good quality. Strong and the fans are fine. Moves the air well. I would like the fan to be a little quieter at all speeds, at max speed it should be half the db level. At top speed, however, the dB levels are much higher. It's actually louder than the fans in all my 1U units combined. The location of the fans was a small issue in terms of airflow. A triangular layout would be better, much better, or maybe four fans instead of three, either way you need to have a fan closer to the front of the machine for devices above the machine that have cooling zones closer to the front. I can't give 5 stars because of the location of the fans, but 5 stars for the quality of the product. Delivery and customer service, well, let's say, needs improvement. I recommend this product as long as you know the facts.
