Good RV Crane priced at

The crane that came with Starcraft 21FB 2018 looked cheap and seemed even cheaper so we wanted to replace it with a better one. The biggest problem was that when turning side to side, the head was stuck and looked like it was about to break. so we started looking around. We figured household faucets would work just like these RV faucets, but we wouldn't break the bank either. After searching we came across this product and after looking for reviews on different websites we decided to give it a try. As a member of Revain Prime, he arrived as expected. It was just bubble wrapped which is not very good. There was a slight deformation in the retail packaging, but nothing like that damaged the product inside. When I inspected a real faucet, I was immediately struck by how smoothly the head can turn from side to side! We were also happy to see that it was almost the same size as in our RV! This appeared to be a little thinner but felt more reliable and durable than a regular faucet. The head itself is metal, but everything else appears to be very hard/durable plastic. Overall I was happy with my purchase. But then I realized that a collar that screws over the base of the spout to hold the faucet in place on the base was less than desirable. This part is plastic and the sticker on it was blistered and peeling off. I thought it was ok but it only got worse as I tightened so I ordered a replacement. Revane Prime got it in the mail the same day and it was at my door 2 days later. After the inspection we found that everything was fine, so we mailed the defective one back and installed a working one. (Note that the flaw was only a cosmetic defect.) Installation was very easy. Disconnect the hot and cold water lines, loosen the nuts holding the original faucet in place, remove the faucet from the countertop, lower the new one into place (which will line up perfectly with the holes in the countertop) , secure the bevel with the nuts provided, and finally reconnect the hot and cold leads. Ready. Now the real test is letting water through and while I haven't done it yet (our campervan is still winterized but I think I'll insulate it very soon) I'm sure it will work as expected. . If not, I will come back and edit this review. But for now I'm very happy with the money I spent (and saved) buying this item. This is a very good upgrade from what the camper had and I would buy it again. (Picture shows the brushed satin nickel installed in our RV.) One last thing to point out is that the faucet head on this unit is unscrewable. From looking at the pictures it looks like it's all one piece, but it's not, and it unscrews to reveal the aerator so it can be cleaned if it ever gets clogged.
