There are many criticisms of the fragility of these coverslips, but that applies to all coverslips. These are very thin pieces of glass that can break if handled improperly. If you are planning to use them with children it is probably best to use plastic bottles, they are not as transparent but they are much safer. These knickers were nice and clean, good quality and packaged in a nice box. . The main problem I had and the reason for the 4 stars is that about 7 coverslips were broken upon arrival. I now see that this is to be expected when I receive coverslips in the mail as they are very fragile and do not require a refund (so I can't say if they would) but that's why they still get 4 out of 5.
