Folds up nice and short, that's what I was looking for. It is very light, which also creates a feeling of fragility. But you shouldn't use something like that for zombie protection or something like that. It does an excellent job of supporting the main camera. And it comes with two different mounting screws just in case your camera has custom mounting hole. Briefly on the leg, which I really liked. It has a rubber foot that can either close or open the metal anchor cone. So you can use the rubber foot indoors or the metal anchor outdoors. I had an old monopod that didn't have this leg and I really like this feature.
