Kreg System These screws are designed for connecting 2x4 or other large woods for large projects. I have often used them in building garden objects, indoor shelves and so on. They work great. They've never failed and I've used them on a variety of projects since they first came out a few years ago (10+, maybe 20+ years ago). I have used other Kreg screws to work with the case and they are excellent too. I have two Kreg jigs and have used them extensively for years. Once the 2x4s are connected with these screws they hold in place and the boards are not going anywhere. These screws tighten the connection. Of course, the wood must be properly prepared and the joint even, because nothing redeems sloppy work or really bad wood without preparation, but if you follow at least basic woodworking techniques, these screws will create a reliable joint that is very strong .AD2
