Perfection for hobbyists
My only criticism of these pens is that they don't make a large set. If FC released 72 gold color pencils, they would be the only pencils I own. They are softer than Polychromos and Arteza Expert pencils, but not as soft as Prismacolor Premier pencils. In my opinion simply ππ½. They don't have a quick waxy build like Prismas, and they don't have a glossy finish like Arteza. The colors are vibrant and run evenly and intensely. They are layered and blend beautifully. Price and performance of these pens are perfect for the hobby artist. They are great for all types of paper in adult coloring books as well as my journal bible.
