If my 8 year old son were to write this review he would tell you this is the best jacket ever! And since I bought it for him, I think his opinion matters, but I'll share some of my thoughts as well. First of all, this jacket is SOFT! I asked him how soft and cuddly he was and he said yes. It washes beautifully (in cold water/hang dry) and the black and red colors of the fabric are still vibrant and don't seem to fade. per day: at the bus stop it's often 34 degrees in the morning, but when he gets home it's 50 degrees, and for that this jacket is perfect - keeps him warm in the mornings and during breaks in the middle of the day, but he doesn't doesn't get tired on the way home. Fits as expected. He's just over 4 feet tall, weighs about 70 pounds and the XL size fits his arms perfectly, leaving room for sweatshirts underneath and keeping him comfortable even when the zip is fully closed. The hood suits him too. (For youth jerseys he wears mostly size 10/M if it helps to determine the jacket size). winter coat and it fits the bill perfectly. He loves it and I'm sure he would wear it everyday if I let him!
