I bought hard plastic all weather mounts and changing the batteries was an absolute hassle. I bought this rubber block but was concerned about how it would perform on windy days as my plastic blocks work on windy days. This unit seems very strong and stable, hasn't failed yet on a windy day. Batteries are easy to change and the sealing is good. Definitely recommend. The only thing that bothers me is the opening for the USB power cable, when you use it it's much bigger than it should be and I can already see the bees starting to enter the back of the camera.
