Review on 1200W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter 12V DC to 110V 120V w/ Remote Control, Dual AC Outlets & USB Port - Ideal for RVs, Cars, Solar Systems, Emergencies by Francis Vasquez

So this is a pure sine wave inverter - at 1200w - it has little ability to exceed 1200w for more than 1/4 second. When I start a 900w coffee maker and try to start my 80w fridge the inverter beeps and shuts off. Before that I had a cheap 1000 watt MSW inverter that worked fine with the same setup. Like the other reviews mentioned, the fan runs at random times. I have a dorm fridge in my van that is powered by an inverter - every time the fridge compressor is turned on the Giandel fan comes on. It can shut down immediately (one second) or keep running. So far I haven't noticed a pattern. After a few months of use, the fan started to run noisily (no wonder the thing starts and stops every day). I told the support team about this, they told me it was perfectly normal. A month later the fan died, I contacted customer service for a new fan - they told me to send the whole unit and I had to pay for delivery. (e.g. $40!) Shipping heavy items across the country is expensive. So I went ahead and bought a high power 60mm fan for $7 here on Amazon, got here the next day and replaced it in the inverter. The fan used by Giandel is really cheap. For the amount of shipping costs I prefer to buy another 1000W MSW inverter.
