Update: My replacement failed pretty quickly. First the same outlet as the first, and finally the second. As I said in my first review, you can *feel* the poor quality of the outlet when you try to plug something into it. It's as if the socket isn't close enough to the socket opening and not strong enough to withstand the force being exerted on it. If you put something like a regular plug in it, it will break quickly. It will probably last if you plug something in and never unplug it. I wouldn't trust that. I wouldn't buy it. I would not recommend it - if it were a quality product it would be exactly what I was looking for when I started looking. Instead, you need to be very careful when using three-pronged connectors. The first one I received had a broken three prong plug when I first plugged it in (the seller was great and sent me a new one quickly with no questions asked). The part inside that actually holds the fork is of very poor quality. But can you expect more at this price? It's cheaper than Apple charges for its iPhone chargers.
