Review on πŸš— Blazer International C3068K 13" LED Double Row Off-Road Light Bar: Illuminating Off-Roading Adventures by Robert Blair

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I just added a Blazer 24 LED light bar and I believe!

I wanted to improve the lighting on my 2004 Silverado HD by adding an LED panel. I already have Silverstar bulbs in headlights and headlights. A few years ago I installed three 6.5 inch Hella headlights on the front bumper. I used a simple bracket that attaches to my license plate bumper holes (no drilling) and found it great. The total cost was just under $200. After looking online for LED panels, I found that I couldn't afford the lighting I wanted as some cost $1,500 or more. So I decided to start with a 12" LED panel from Blazer. He advertised 24 LEDs and 5000 lumens. For less than $80 I found it a great deal (as long as it works). When it arrived I was impressed with the construction and quality of the powder coating.I quickly realized I had to run to the parts store because it didn't have a wiring harness or switch. So in 30 minutes and $30 I was back at the install.I opted for the install just below mine Hella headlights. Installation was easy and the brackets feel very heavy. What's most impressive is how stable and consistent the light is when puffed. It doesn't give at all like the Hella, which when going over bumps to the Tend to wobble. I hooked everything up in about an hour and hit the switch...it works! As soon as it got dark I decided to turn around and see how they behave. At next During daily trips on country roads with a lot of snow, I realized that I no longer needed Hella headlights. Floodlights and spotlights are built into the LED panel. These LEDs are incredibly bright. They make Hella appear yellow and dull. I can't believe this little strip of light is putting out so much light. There is no warm-up period. Simply full and complete, immediately. I've had this LED bar on my truck for a few weeks now and am still amazed that the little $100 LED bar (light and wire set) is so bright. I was finally able to test it out in a snow storm (lake effect snow can be pretty hard to see). I figured the LED would just bounce off the snow and blind me like my high beams. Instead, the LED went right through the snow, illuminating the road in front of me. It has to be the color of the light or something. I was able to turn off the headlights and had excellent visibility. I have two children of driving age and both will get this in the future. I'll feel better knowing they can see everything in front of them. If you're looking to get into LED and have the same budget as me, this is the way to go.
