Very flexible and strong to a point.
This "lightweight" add-on is only for flares or small light shapers! I bought it to mount the Canon 600ex in places where it is difficult to place stands. I mount it on a super clamp (attached with no extras) and it does the job well. Incredible positioning flexibility and much heavier weight than any flash but I wouldn't trust it for my camera or multiple flash clusters.
