Trying to buy a good tool at a reasonable price can drive you crazy. There is a Taiwanese "V" model, a Chinese fake and an Indian fake of a Chinese fake. There's no way to tell what you'll get from online sellers. A note is a 4 slot table versus a 3 slot table. This is a Chinese 4 slot table apparently identical to the one the bears are selling for a higher price. Arrived well packaged, oiled and clean, with surfaces well sanded and with a control sheet showing measurements of conformance to tolerances. My measurements showed almost no discernible heartbeat in the chart or parallelism. The rotation was smooth. I'm crazy about the purchase. Highly recommended. Does not come with tailstock in this packaging option
