Review on Dynaplug Bicycle Tubeless Repair Pointy by Mike Larkin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The only plugs I will use.

They do an excellent job of repairing small holes that sealant can't fix. I use higher pressures (over 80psi) and sealants don't seem to work as advertised once you get over 70psi, even the ones I've tried are rated for high pressure. Stan's plugs will get you home, but for me, as it turns out, they weren't a permanent solution. I can patch a puncture and inflate a tire to 90psi on the fly with no problem. I haven't tried bacon strips and I think they would work too, but the pills take up very little space in a saddlebag and the way they fit makes them incredibly easy to use.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • Out of style
