I've bought two of these over the past few years and used each one until it broke. My biggest problem with them was mold. I often had to clean them. I live in a very dry climate. I didn't expect to have such a major mold problem as we have with this humidifier. This is why I ended up switching to other humidifiers after the first two broke. PROS: It holds a lot of water so you don't have to refill as much as others. - It's pretty easy to fill. I put it on the bottom of our bath and just let the water flow and fill it. I didn't have to hold it while filling. The blue light is nice and easy to turn off. The power button is simple. It is on: low, medium, high or off. The power button is easy to find in the dark. The mist is really good and gives off a lot of moisture. CONS - Mold. I had to clean it often on ours. The vinegar didn't work. I had to use bleach. - The cymbal is difficult to hold because there is no handle. Once you've filled it, you'll have to carry it back to the base, and it can slip off if you're not careful.
