I think when people buy webcams, they have to decide what they're buying them for. In my case, I needed a webcam that would serve as a good tool for video conferencing. I don't need a high-end camera, and I certainly don't want to spend 15 hours a day installing drivers for each one. So I'm glad I found this camera. It's truly plug and play compatible, although you can install drivers and additional software if you wish. The included Logitech VidHD software is a decent product, although I'm still sticking with Skype and GoTo Meeting. The image is clear and the camera automatically adjusts to the lighting. The microphone picks up noise in a decent range and filters out background noise well. There are certainly webcams with better equipment, but I'm satisfied. Conclusion: An inexpensive camera that will not disappoint the average user. 5 Stars.
