Considering the price, these binoculars perform well and provide crisp, clear images, especially at lower magnifications. Of course, there are a few limitations inherent in any high magnification optic. One is the minimum focusing distance, which I'm familiar with from camera lenses but may not be known to casual binocular users. In other words, don't expect to be able to focus on anything nearby, say within 50 feet or so. Another reason is to use binoculars with goggles. The eyecups are fairly rigid, and instead of folding them down, users should remove their glasses whenever possible and just use the binoculars' magnification to compensate. Third, the need to use a stable tripod, especially at high magnifications. The tripod adapter is also plastic, and while it appears solid, it does have a few downsides. So be prepared to give the binoculars a few seconds to stop moving and try not to touch them after that. Again, these things apply to all high-performance binoculars, and the only way to avoid some of them is to add stabilization, which increases the price significantly.
