Review on Grommet Pliers: Top-Quality Brass and Copper Grommets for All Your Needs by Gary Shakeone

Eyelets are great for compression

This set of eyelets and pliers was supposed to fix my belt. The leather straps I buy are no longer real leather even though they cost over $20 for a strip of what should be like glue and fiber. So the holes are torn. I received this set of sockets and found that the belt buckle needed a size larger to fit through the 3/16 socket I ordered after carefully measuring the size of the holes in my leather like belt. I found the other buckle worked and I changed the straps and all is fine. As for this set, it worked great and was the cheapest way I could find to just buy and use 6 pads with something to "break" them with. So I have way more grommets than I need. The other instruments I looked at were more expensive and it would be great if I did this for the next 20 years. But I just wanted to fix the belt and I hope this will be the last time I have to do it. In any case, I couldn't find a way to buy bushings in different sizes without spending about $10 per size to "squeeze" them. So that was a good decision for my project. Now I have to keep it and won't be needing it for a long time unless I list it on ebay.
