Not the best, but usable and durable
Doesn't seem to attract air and water as evenly as a traditional sponge filter given the plastic slots and is larger than the description suggests, definitely a bit big for my 5 gallon. The foam is pretty good so it needs cleaning more often than the ones in my aquarium chicken coop. But. It works great and I need to check the size first. My shrimp love it and it fell into disrepair quickly when my old pump broke down and I had to install a filter asap!
- Contents: 1 double sponge filter with 2 containers + 1 bag of filled ceramic balls + 2 spare sponges (packed in 2 containers). This aquarium filter must be used with an air pump and standard size 4mm air hose. Please note that the pump and air hose are not included. Please choose a sufficiently strong air pump for this filter according to your aquarium size.
