My son loves his new shoes! For a long time we couldn't decide which brand we wanted to buy for him. It was one of Dad's favorite brands (comfort and durability) over 20 years ago. They're great for skateboarding, but definitely shouldn't be used as an all-around shoe. My son slipped and fell because he chose to wear them instead of his regular running shoes to run around the basement playing chase. Lesson learned! He said he could tell a big difference in traction with this shoe compared to the shoes he rode his new board in.
