I have mine on my 55 gallon fx4. It reduces the current in the aquarium to be ideal for fish with low currents.1. Drill holes just over twice their original size.2. How to position the pipes: Get two elbows connecting in an Au shape; I used 1.5 PVC elbows. This will hold the hose to the tank wall and replace the original Fulval clamps. The clamps that come with the FX4 hold the handlebars MUCH lower in the tank. These elbows also ensure that if for some reason the outlet port fails, the water will still make its way into the tank and not onto your floor.4. To attach the atomizer to the pipe: Take a 1/2 PVC elbow. It attaches directly to the atomizer and the other end connects to the flexible hose, but was originally used to connect the hose and original nozzles.3. Position the holes at an angle to the wall it is attached to. This will spread the water away from the wall and up. Thus further dissipation of electricity.
