Good value for money

Like. I have yet to try to program the infrared (and probably never will) because it does pretty much everything I need on Windows 10 via a 2.4GHz USB transceiver and it does it very well. Pros: - I plugged it in. and it worked in seconds. - When the remote control side is up, the keyboard turns off, preventing accidental key presses. - Likewise, the remote control and air mouse will turn off if you fold them to the keyboard side. - In mouse mode, page up/down works, arrow keys work and there are application menu and right click buttons. Cons: - Instead of the SHIFT key, there is a CAPS key. Like the ALT key, the CAPS LOCK key is a lock mode key. So if I want to type "Spiderman" I have to press [CAPS] S [CAPS] pider [ALT] - [ALT] [CAPS] M [CAPS] and n. which is very annoying, especially when entering a password with mixed case, symbols and/or numbers, as the characters are usually not visible. The air mouse movement works well until you have to stay in one place for a few seconds to double click or right click. In this case, pressing any key will cause the mouse to move, interrupting the double-click or right-click action. - There are no special settings for this device - it just uses the basic system mouse settings. It seems to me that the method the device uses to send the mouse movement needs some tweaking and without special user controls there is no way to overcome this. It falls asleep very quickly - for about a few seconds. So if you pause or mute etc, you have to press the button, make sure it doesn't work (because it woke the remote), and then press it again. It doesn't have a backlight, which makes the keyboard virtually useless in low light, which is where I use it most. All flaws aside, it's still very useful and pretty cool, but I'd give it three stars if it weren't for the low price. .*January 2019 update* I'm surprised that with so many similarly styled backlit remotes, someone is still buying these. I've since upgraded to an Air Remote Ilebygo Mini wireless keyboard/mouse for just a few dollars.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works great for the Nvidia Shield (without voice)
