These bells differ from conventional bicycle bells. The first thing that struck me was the miniature size, which takes up very little space on the handlebars. The next thing that struck me was the unique way the bell worked. Simply pull the trigger back, release and DING will sound. If you want a light ring, pull it back slightly. If you want a louder ring, move farther away. The further you pull the trigger, the louder the ringing gets. I bought these for my 3 and 5 year old grandchildren and they find it easy to use. The current price of 3.99 for two bells is great value.
