Review on 🦈 Terracotta Shark UpLight Upright Vacuum Cleaner by Gabriela Warner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More than I expected

Let's start by saying I'm not a big fan of reviews. For this vacuum I had to. Secondly, let me say that I am disabled; remodeled male - back, leg and recently new shoulder. Vacuuming is not my favorite sport! Now we come to the assessment. A month ago my old vacuum was empty and after some research I almost went for this Shark. Then I saw it as Revane's deal of the day. It was supposed to be a sign, so I ordered it. Three days later he was here. Arrived in a well-packaged box with all parts intact. After a quick look at the instructions, I simply assembled it. My first assignment was a few days later. The lower floor took about 45 minutes to clean - 4 rooms and an adjoining hallway with hardwood floors and 2 carpets. Dog hair for a month (see photo) came out much easier than I expected. I've seen reviews about weight distribution. This is also no problem for my new shoulder. I've also read that they were difficult to maneuver and while it took a few minutes to get used to, that wasn't a problem either. In fact, I like the way it maneuvers better. You don't rotate it like most vacuums. Instead, just twist the wrist of the leading hand slightly and the suction head will rotate left or right. Pretty cool after the first two corners. What about the suction power? I'm glad you asked. If you've ever had a combination of a shed dog and a hardwood floor, you know how hair seems to wander into nooks and crannies. Not the easiest places to reach with a vacuum cleaner. However, this was not a problem with this shark. Being just a few inches from the hair was enough as the hair magically seemed to run across the floor to the vacuum and disappear. As for the mats, I have to say Shark did a better job than any other rack I've ever used. And the transition from wood to carpet was very smooth, no shifters required. Oh, and lest I forget, after cleaning the hair off the hardwoods, I noticed that it almost looked like it had been polished. The main advantage of this Shark series is that the hair does not wrap around the sweeping heads. After vacuuming a lot of hair (and there were a lot, look at the photo again), I checked the curlers. The hair is not knotted at all. no Are there any disadvantages? Well, something like that. Nozzles (definitely 2) are attached to the handle. If you don't remove them when using the vacuum, the cord (and my leg) will knock them off. A bit annoying until I decided to leave them on the table. And if you have small mats like treadmills or entrance mats, you can use a smaller nozzle. I tried using a regular vacuum nozzle and the suction kept rolling up the mats. Probably common sense, but I'm not very strong in this department. Finally, the rear wheels, which allow standing without assistance but retract during use, feel a bit stiff when stowed. It may get easier with use, but flexing is required for now. I haven't tried the accessory yet, and admittedly only used it once, but so far these three cons are all I've found. You can see these little bugs as a reason to try something else or not. I do not recommend. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner and I am sure that anyone who tries it with an open mind will come to the same conclusion. Shark is now my favorite fish!
