This is my first Raspberry Pi and it's a fun way to learn about Linux. There is a learning curve used for the retropy build. So a 7 year old would use this and one of my biggest fears is that he might fall on it while jumping while playing. In this case I think it could also hop for half an hour and the only issue I think would be how the HDMI/power jacks survive and that has nothing to do with how well this case is made. cheaper individually if you're really hunting, but as this was my first build with everything you need together and tested to work together, I'm very glad I did. Also, I think next time I'll use a much larger memory card and get an HDMI cable that ends in a full female so it's easier to swap out with wires on my monitor than plugging it directly into the monitor. I just change it with a cable connected to my laptop. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
