Review on MTD Replacement Part Single Muffler by Greg Bloom
Broke but found only 2 out of 4 mower motor mounts were causing excessive vibration.
Broke immediately. But I just noticed that 2 of the 4 motor mounting bolts were missing from the mower which would explain why the motor was vibrating so much. I replaced them. I believe excessive vibration caused the muffler to fail. Kolers has problems with screws loosening and falling out. I risk another purchase. Without a fully functional muffler, the lawnmower is too loud.
