Sometimes you want a fairly mindless and straightforward game, and sometimes you want a game that requires intellectual effort. This is a game that requires some mental activity but is easy to master. The instructions state a 1 minute time limit per move, but we used the 2 minute time limit for the first two games until we got the hang of it. This is not a quick game so make sure you have time to sit and play. The only downside is that the chips slide off the stands easily. This could be remedied if they add a little hem to hold the chips in place.
