It would be ideal with a zip lid.

We bought this travel tray for my cat and it's great. I wouldn't put less than 2 inches of infill or else the floor might get wet, although it won't seep onto the floor. If the tray came with a zipped lid that would be ideal as you will need another bin to store or throw away rubbish which is a big waste at weekends.

Pros

LARGE ROOM AND NIGHT LIGHT: First choice for fat cats and multi-cat families! Large exercise space: 60L large fat cat weighing 22lb can rotate freely inside, but not recommended for kittens under two months old. Urns can be used for 7-15 days without refueling, easily surviving short-term business trips and travel. Equipped with night lights, cats can easily get into the litter box at night.
