Switch for the first time?
When you replace the control board for the first time, you can order a fuse set at the same time, because the fuse will blow on the first cycle. I suspect that the "power supply" on the newer boards generates a bit more heat; I replaced my thermal fuse with an upgrade kit and have had no problems since.
