Overall this is a strong little drill. The reason I gave it three stars is because the trigger is very insensitive to speed control. There is a wide dead zone on the first pull of the trigger, then it goes from low to high rpm. There is no velocity adjustment screw on the front of the trigger. This allows you to adjust the depth of the trigger pull so you can maintain your speed. Instead try to "measure" the trigger with your index finger while trying to control the drill, good luck. The chuck closes almost indefinitely, which was a problem because I looked at a pair of Dewalt drill bits at Lowes and they closed to about a 1/16 inch gap. If you try to use a 1/16" drill bit, it may not tighten. Another problem I have is that they no longer attach a cartridge tether to these things, just a hole in the rubber to push the cartridge in and it will fall out. The power cord is quite long, but it's not a three-prong grounding plug. There is pretty little backlash in the gear head so it should last a while. All in all it should be a good easy job in a workshop.
