Got a Mac mini, it doesn't work. Sent back, bought cheaper, works perfectly. I don't know if this cable was defective or non-functional. I didn't ask matter, I just want something that works. Update 2/22/19: The seller read my first review and sent a replacement cable. Thanks very much! But the replacement cable worked the same as the original cable. The only conclusion I can draw is that the cable is Chinese junk or a design flaw. Anyway, for anyone who needs a mini USB-C to DVI cable for Mac 2018, look for this ASIN # B076J5GPJM <- it works and is cheaper.
