I shopped a lot before finding this bag and although it's not as good quality as other bags it fits a lot better. Obviously my office chair is huge as my chair dimensions approached the maximum size for any other cover I found. I tried a few others but they all seemed about to fall off the chair like the Incredible Hulk. This cover was only about an inch larger than the others, but it fits perfectly! To be honest, I don't like fabric. It feels like a very thin jersey fabric while others have been slightly more synthetic and durable. However, it fits and does the job I got it for - protecting my chair from my kitty's claws! She's young and not very confident in her jumps from one piece of furniture to another, so she uses her claws to help her land, leaving tiny scratches and running all over my chair. Since she really only scratches it by accident, I think this cover will take a beating. If your cat intentionally uses your chair as a scratching post, this fabric is definitely not thick enough to protect your chair! With little effort, she tore it straight through.
