Review on Efficient 45cm Flexible Pipe Dredging Brush ๐Ÿšฐ for Easy Sink Cleaning - Pack of 4 by Heather Marie

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good build quality; multiple uses; could be longer and more flexible

Actually a huge pipe cleaner. It's designed to clean the drains of the sink and does the job quite well. The bristles are stiff and will cling to anything that shouldn't be there (garbage in general and hair in particular) and pull out. Once you get rid of the nasty junk that comes out of the sewers, it will go a long way towards keeping the drains running properly. It is also very suitable for cleaning dryer openings. Although the diameter is small and will not replace a full-size vent brush, it fits perfectly into every nook and cranny, from the dryer to the main vent. The bristles are pretty good at grabbing and holding lint. Build quality is good overall, with stiff bristles and a stiff centerline (which is also a downside, as discussed below). The handles are plastic but well made and have a hole so they can be hung on a hook. The downside to the solid build quality is that it's quite stiff and difficult to maneuver around corners. While stiffness is great for longevity, it makes it a bit finicky if you want to flex it. The length is also fairly short (13 inches from the tip of the tool to the base of the handle) and lags behind the siphon on many sinks. This is not a major problem as the trap can easily be removed and cleaned by hand. This is for the stem of the pipe that goes to the water trap, which is a lot harder to clean. However, a few inches more length would have made it much more useful. One star off for stiffness and short length, but otherwise a handy tool.
