It helped me a lot. I see others have had issues but this was a great product. It fits my iPhone 5S and my Otterbox Commuter case. Cracked? I cut off the plugs for the charging jack and earphones from the bottom of the case (yes, that may partially defeat the purpose of this piece of case, but they still don't seal well, often stick out, and don't protect anything if you drop them in a puddle and they are not protected from dust). With this modification, the iPhone sits securely. When I first connected the phone, the watch automatically set the date and time. I installed the iHome Set app and was able to set the alarm clock and other functions right from my iPhone. While leaving the phone in the dock, I received a call and to my surprise, the watch worked like a speakerphone. Very happy with it. It does everything as advertised.
